Kevin Drake was born in Birmingham, in 1975 to Howard and Marilyn Drake. He grew up in Gardendale, Al. and is now married and lives in Birmingham with wife, Kimberly and daughters Caylee (7) and Savannah (3).

He played High School football, basketball and baseball where he was an all-state athlete in each sport. He signed with UAB as their first ever scholarship football player as a QB, and was the team’s starting QB from ‘95-’96. Kevin signed with the Arizona Cardinals, coming out of college in ‘97, as a free-agent. He played with the Cardinals from ‘97-’98, then with Buffalo and Denver in ‘00 and finished his career with the Dallas Cowboys in ‘01. He then played for NFL-Europe In the summers of ‘99 and ‘00 and won the World Bowl in ’00. Kevin set and still has a league record for TD receptions in a single season.

After returning from the NFL, Kevin started training clients in fitness and strength. He also began leading sports camps for young football players and speed camps for runners. With 6 years of training expertise, Kevin and his wife Kim opened Drake Fitness in September, 2007. Kevin considers every client that walks in the door to be a part of his family. Because of this, each member is given a specific training program to suit their personal needs. Kevin’s knowledge of the complexities and biology of the Human Body added with his experience in training makes every client Kevin trains very successful in their goals for their body. Kevin is driven by the desire to see people succeed and loves being the one who can provide the skills and motivation for people to get healthy.
